Waking Life
ROLE: construction & decoration /props making WHERE: Portugal
As part of the building team I participated in various task such as the construction of one of the main stage, food area, platforms, waterproof DJ booth...
The previous edition, I was part of the Decoration department and was involved with a variety of tasks such as: building & making small props, basic lighting, fabric covering tasks, installing the decor on site as well as taking it down after the festival.
I also participated in the construction of a small house on the lake.
Nowhere
ROLE: construction WHERE: Spain
I spend 3 weeks in the desert, building a festival from the ground in intense climate conditions. I helped on the construction of different infrastructures (Info point, kitchen, Gates...) & set dressing of an apocalyptic-town-themed town.
The Revival
ROLE: SET DESIGN, BUILDING WHERE: COLOMBIA
The Revival is a small grassroots music and arts festival founded in Vancouver, BC. Revived in Colombia in 2022.I participated in the ecological construction of a stage, tent and bamboo bar.
I also created a natural stage backdrop (made with natural elements found on site: bamboo sticks, flowers, palm tree and coconut tree leaves…) and made various smaller pieces like wood signs, bamboo ashtrays...
